Gatwick Construction Limited was the preferred contractor to undertake the installation element of the works and associated civils (including the enabling and reinstatement works) due to our experience of such installations and strong stakeholder management capability.

The installation had to be completed with minimum disruption to the operational effectiveness of the facility, ensuring access and egress to the facility was maintained 24/7.

The installation included for:

a. Setting up site, including fencing, signage and welfare facilities.
b. Break out existing concrete foundations to existing gate and bollards and dispose of off-site, to a licensed waste facility..
c. Formation of sub-base and concreting of new foundation.
d. Installation of new pit and duct route.
e. Removal and disposal of existing security fence.
f. Removal and repositioning of pedestrian turnstile.

Gatwick Construction, working collaboratively with Cova Security Gates, was able to undertake and successfully complete this works with minimal disruption to the effective operation of the facility and maintain a secure site throughout.
